In little more than a week its time for summer holidays! The ladies will be home, forcing this mama to slow done, take time off and build forever memories. Thank goodness! It’s also Christmas time so be prepared for an overload of festive cheer. We go big on birthdays and Jesus’s isn’t any different!

I love having all my girls home but they enjoy school too… The friends, the activities, even the food. Except for visiting family here and there we’ll be enjoying our yearly staycation. It’s all good but being home for over 40 days can get a little boring. With lots of sunshine days and outside play on the horizon, we also like including a daily craft. It’s the perfect opportunity to create fun one-on-one time.

I had great Pinterest dreams… Pinning all kinds of clever and cute holiday crafts but that’s the easy part, now with only days left, let’s get real, there’s no time to get everything together!

Thank goodness for other mama-maker and bakers that know what it’s like to run a business, a home and a family. They saw this coming and has come up with some clever ideas; making all mamas, even us pin-crazy / lazy / busy mamas, ” Mother Christmas” too.

First up, the creative mama behind Mayalief.

Michelle is a work-at-home mama of two gorgeous girls, Maya and Amelia – both are with her all day, everyday. She shares the fun they have on their new Instagram account; @speel.leer.mayalief.

Jackie’s clothes has always been all about fun and comfort but now she’s giving your little an opportunity to be part of the creative process too with their new “Colour-Me-In” vests.

These vests are amazing and the best Christmas gift for any child that loves to colour in. Plus the fun part is that the markers are washable, which means the girls get to “re-designing” their mermaids wash-after-wash. I definitely think we’ll need to order some ballerinas too.

Each vest comes with 4 markers but the markers are sold separately if you would like all 8 colours. The print is a puff print helping littles ones stay in the lines when colouring. What a clever, creative, no-presure activity! We think it’s awesome!

What would Christmas be without baking.

We do the whole homemade cookies thing but baking only once would never be enough. Cool mama/daughter duo Angie and Nina James from Miss Lucky Pony recently launched their YouTube channel; Tastes Like Nice.

If you haven’t subscribed yet, do so. Together they make yummy (any easy – for us baking impaired) treats bound to be a hit in every home. Watching the episodes with the fam is great fun too! These two ladies will have you laughing, drooling and #motherdaugtherrelationshipgoals inspired.

Lastly, I can’t talk kids crafting, baking and keeping busy without mentioning Kimmy & Bear.

You all know how much we adore these 3 sister-moms and from reading lists, to busy bags and all kinds of fun things to do. They share it all and will keep you inspired and motivated to have fun with your tribe every day.
