Quick weekend DIY home entrance makeover
We’ve lived in our home for almost 6 years and a big reason for buying this house specifically was it’s potential to “fix her up”. We started out well, tackling the girl’s bedroom, the playroom and our bedroom first but… Then life happened and we kind of got a little side-tracked. I forgot about our dreams of calm and warmth but then Popstrukt sent over 3 Bubblegum Wall Hooks which inspired a quick home entrance makeover and now I’m feeling ready to tackle the entire house!
But first our home entrance…
It may sound silly, but a home entrance is actually an important space that deserves a bit of special attention. It’s after all the first “hello” and sets the mood for anyone entering.
Ours hadn’t been touched and was actually still a greeting from the previous owners…
I’ll just dive in and share some photos below.
Nothing like a fresh lick of paint to give any space a new feel.

This little revamp didn’t even take a day, it was more like a few hours and best of all it was super cost-effective too. Plus, this is mine (and Luna’s) favourite spot to catch a bit of afternoon sun.
