Cricut Joy Xtra review & giveaway
Earlier this month I was invited to attend the Cricut Valentines Day event. It was a morning of fun, laughter and most of all creativity! We also got introduced to the NEWEST addition of the Cricut family and I was so impressed, I knew I had to share MORE. Hence this Cricut Joy Xtra review… and giveaway! Because I truly believe every mom needs a Cricut to help make life a little easier and JOY-ful.
Just in case you may be wondering…
Cricut is a brand of electronic cutting machines used for crafting and DIY projects. The machines can cut a variety of materials like paper, vinyl, fabric, leather, and even wood, depending on the model. They are popular for making stickers, custom t-shirts, greeting cards, home décor, wall decals, labels and a whole lot more.
Cricut machines work with Design Space – software that allows you to create and upload designs, which the machine then cuts with precision. Some models, like the Cricut Maker, can also engrave, emboss, and even use a rotary blade for fabric cutting (but more on that in another post).

If you love crafting, DIY projects, or want to start a small business, a Cricut machine can be a game-changer. My machine gets used overtime whenever it’s anyone’s birthday… Think party decorations, banners, cake toppers, cards, favour bags, gift tags and lots more. Personalise gifts by adding a name or nickname to items such as water bottles, tote bags, t-shirts, pencil cases, lunchboxes… the list goes on and on.
Being a “last-minute mom” isn’t a problem anymore either… No more running out of labels or not having any on hand because I forgot to order in time. My Cricut helps me get organised and I can easily create custom labels for school supplies, stickers for our pantry and storage boxes whenever needed.
The kids love getting involved too and our Cricut has been a useful tool for school projects as well as seasonal and holiday crafts. Together we’ve made class gifts and decor for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Teacher’s Day, Christmas etc.

I’ve been wanting a Cricut for ages, but I haven’t managed to fit one into the budget just yet. I really love the size of this one – space is always at a premium in my house! My 5 year old granddaughter loves making cards but she’s not allowed to join card guild due to being too young. I absolutely love being creative, it is something that helps me ground myself in anxious moments. I have always found ways to make things with what I have lying around at home. I have made Halloween costumes out of Glitter stickers from Crazy store. I have painted T-shirts with material paint.
