Lia Turns Two: A Secret Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Our baby girl turned TWO! I still can’t believe it! Why is it that the older one gets and the more kids you have the faster time goes…? Please, somebody, figure out how we can make time stand still!
For now I guess photos will have to do the trick… and if you follow me on Instagram, you might see we like taking a photo or two. That’s why I was over the moon when my amazingly talented friend, Anje-Ilana Nel, from Madison&West Lifestyle Division blessed Lia with a birthday photo shoot!
The concept was simple. I wanted to tell the story of Lia’s life at two. No words needed, I wanted her to be able to look at the photos and know exactly what was going on without needing an explanations. Surrounding her with her current “besties” doing something she loves, in this case having a tea party (VERY popular in our house at the moment), in her favourite surrounding which is a spot in our garden the girls call “Die Woud” a.k.a the forest.
I think the goal was achieved…

I want to hear from YOU! Please leave a comment telling me about your toddler’s favourite things.
