Our master bedroom recently underwent a little update. Part of the revamp included a thorough cleaning of everything but most importantly the mattress. 3 easy steps to deep clean your mattress at home:

Convenience and efficacy are the main reasons we love using SANIC (plus the lovely fresh scent of course). It couldn’t be easier…

STEP 1 – Sprinkle down the SANIC powder over the desired area.

During light, regular cleaning one tub of SANIC can clean up to 4 king-size bed mattresses when used on only one side of the mattress. For deep cleaning use more. Be sure a layer of light powder is covering the entire surface.

STEP 2 – Wait 20 minutes.

For a deeper clean leave the powder on for 2 hours (or longer) while running other errands.

STEP 3 – Vacuum!

See all the moisture, dirt, dust mites, mould and more lift and get sucked up with the powder. You’ll be left with a lingering fresh scent which dissipates within a few hours. So no perfume smells keeping you awake at night.

pointers for keeping your mattress clean:

• We spend a lot of time in our beds and keeping our “sleep space” clean will lead to better sleep and overall better health. That’s why regular matress-cleaning is important.
• Our matrasses, couches and upholstery all act as “filters” through which the air we breathe moves. Regular cleaning of these will improve the air quality in our homes.
• SANIC recommends cleaning your mattress once a month. For extreme allergy sufferers or those struggling with skin conditions – once a week could be beneficial.
