For Eliana’s 2nd birthday we wanted to do something fun, something everyone would enjoy and something Eli would LOVE! Something with bubbles…
The 1st thing that “popped” into my mind was BUBBLES! Kids of all ages love bubbles.
Pops of pink, teal and yellow on the cutest white picnic benches made for a crisp, clean look. Ribbons, washi tape, a few giant balloons and a bubble machine transformed our backyard into a beautiful botanical bubble paradise.
A “Bubbly Bar” – with “grown-up” and little person bubbly; because everyone should enjoy the party – welcomed guests and after enjoying Prego rolls and salad for lunch everyone got treated to some yummy ice cream at our DIY ice cream parlor.
Mydarlings baked a gorgeous butter cream rainbow cake for all the kids to enjoy, and boy did they…
The party favours were a hit! Eli’s friends took home a pretty ombre pouch filled with some of her favourite “bubbly things”… bubbles (of course), Pure Beginnings Bubble bath and a crazy, twirly straw to keep the bubble fun going at home.
Top Mommy Tip:
Keep things simple!
I love hiding all the not so pretty kid’s treats in craft boxes.
Décor doesn’t have to be expensive, a few colourful circle cutouts scattered here and there was all we needed to pretty things up.
Just a little warning, the bubble machine was a winner but 2 years later and we still can’t grow anything where it stood… Rather find a spot of paving or place a protective layer underneath it to protect the flora in your garden.
