Keeping it casual and comfy in Annapatat Kids

These matching pink floral leggings aren’t just pretty but super soft and stretchy too. Made from quality fabric that won’t make holes after one wear. The girls could walk, run, climb and explore as they please. Best of all, the print does a great job at hiding stains, keeping little ones looking picture perfect the entire day.

Paired with an Oversized Head Bow (R90) or Anglaise Bonnet (R170) and crisp white tee. Everyone loved this clean, classic and comfy look while exploring the streets of Athens .

“Dress”-ing in the right colours with Sophie Constantia

Travel fashion for girls

Our BEST new find from our vacation has to be Sophie Constantia. This Cape Town based girl’s clothing label pride themselves on generations of experience and distinctively designed dresses made with love, care and quality in mind.

Lia loves her Elodie skirt for girls ages 1-2 years up to 11-12 years. (R195 – R225). Soft, flowing and easy to wear with anything.

Just a mamma Sophie Constantia

The red and blue Juniper check dresses they made for Eliana and Ava are adorable and perfect for relaxing on any Greek island or beach. Wear it as is, on a hot summer’s day or layer it with a long or short sleeve tee as the seasons change. The red would also be lovely for Christmas and I just know the girls will be wearing these for a while as they grow and the dresses become cute blouses.

Available in sizes 1-2 years all the way up to 9-10 years with the price ranging between R225 and R255.

The prettiest mommy and me fashion by Sunny + Bear

Of course we had to have our “mommy and me” fashion moments in Greece too and in a brand we are totally obsessed with…

No one does classic, linen designs for mamas and their littles like Sunny + Bear! We are slowly but surely purchasing every piece of their current collection. I just keep getting more impressed by the quality and design of their garments every time our order arrives.

While exploring the tiny village of Chalki in Naxos we kept cool in rust and black. Eliana and I went for the Georgie (R449) and Poppy (R599) Dungarees whole Ava and Lia chose dresses.

Travel fashion for girls

The best feature of these dungarees according to Eliana: “Having pockets to keep all our treasures safe.”

Lia wore the Willow Dress (R499) and although this is actually a long sleeve dress, probably meant for winter / autumn, we simply rolled up her sleeves. What a win; one dress for two seasons.

This his one of the most adorable outfits Ava has ever worn. The Sage dress (R329) is a classic little girls dress and the rich, vibrant rust colour compliments Ava’s fair skin. The ruffled cap sleeves and pleated front adds detail to this tiny dress while still keeping the look effortlessly beautiful.

Dare I say this is Ava’s best outfit of the trip?

Sunny + Bear make these dresses and dungarees in varies sizes for ages 3-6 months 6-7 years and just launched their woman’s collection.

Going couture in Sweet Lychee Kids

Travel fashion for girls

We couldn’t resist packing at least one special outfit for our special vacation. I knew these Sweet Lychee Kids couture dresses would look magical in the old Castle pathways in Naxos village. So on our last afternoon in Naxos we got all glammed up for a sunset stroll and early dinner. Ava napped while we followed Eliana and Lia, snapping away.

Travel fashion for girls

Images like these make me stop and stare in disbelief. When did Lia become such a “big girl”, all grown up…

Travel fashion for girls

The white sequence “Dew Drop flare crop top” (R550) and “When the Wind Blows” tulle skirt (R800) had Lia twirling about and she was constantly playing with the layers. It’s just the right amount of whimsy and fancy to make her heart skip a beat (and ours too).

Travel fashion for girls

Eliana matched Lia in an equally breathtaking black and white creation…

The “When the Snow Melts” tutu dress (R1 600) is truly something else. Made from the most exquisite white fabric that has been laser cut and embroided. Lined with black fabric and tulle. This creation comes alive the moment Eliana puts it on and she wanted to wear it every single day. I totally understand why – I wish this dress came in my size too.

Travel fashion for girls

Yes, these dresses are pricey but, we’ve bought garments from Sweet Lychee before that the girls still enjoy wearing. The styles are classic and will stay beautiful for years to come. The quality is also unrivalled, my own dresses aren’t make this well. Every design is a limited edition with only a select amount made.

Obviously this isn’t everyday wear but when we’re looking for something incredible, for a special occasion, Sweet Lychee is our 1st stop.

We will treasure these photos and our special afternoon forever and who know’s maybe one day we’ll be lucky enough to return to Naxos and do it all again.

Supporting local in Naxos with Pagonis Greek Sandals

Travel fashion for girls

Our little fashion feature wouldn’t be complete without a mention of the cute leather shoes we bought the girls in Naxos. Pagonis Greek Sandals is a quant shop in Old Post Office Street, Naxos Town with a huge selection of leather boots, sandals, bags and more.

Travel fashion for girls

All the shoes are handmade on site and anyone is welcome to come and have a look in the workshop. Seeing how the shoes are made blew our minds and with so much attention to detail and passion – I would have bought a pair in every style!

Travel fashion for girls

We spent about an hour trying on different pairs, admiring the craftsmanship and just chatting until the girls finally decided on these winged sandals.

If ever you are in Naxos, add Pagonis Greek Sandals shop as one of the places you MUST visit. You’re sure to receive a warm welcome and leave with a stunning pair of shoes.

My favourite look for mamas by Momsy

Lastly something for the mamas. Breastfeeding or not The Momsy Jumpsuit (R799) is my favourite item for summer. This is the most flattering jumpsuit even for petite mamas.

Travel fashion for girls

The sleeveless design and ankle length pants kept me cool and I really like how the little elastic band accentuates my waist.

Travel fashion for girls

Made from soft and stretchy viscose lycra that drapes perfectly. And did I mention it has pockets. I always think adding pockets is a good idea.

Travel fashion for girls

The wrap top made for easy breastfeeding anywhere. This jumpsuit makes me feel stylish and sexy, like all moms should, especially while on vacation. The black version is definitely on my Christmas wish list too.

That’s a glimpse into our travel fashion for girls.

You’ll definitely be seeing more of what we wore as the travel posts continue but for now please leave us a comment below sharing which look you liked best. We’d love to know.
