Anneen Henze: Summer favourites

by | Jan 12, 2018 | Fashion for Moms, South African Fashion, What we wear | 1 comment

These’s just something about beautifully designed and crafted garments that has always set my heart racing! This love for fashion has me constantly looking for the best in proudly South African designs and brands. Anneen Henze may not be new to the scene but she is a master at what she does and that is designing high-end clothing for woman that isn’t just beautiful but also timeless and easy to wear.

She celebrates woman of all ages, shapes and sizes and even makes pieces that are pregnancy and breast-feeding friendly too so you’ll definitely be wearing these pieces over and over again.

“Fit, construction and quality are our main focus points, ensuring we deliver a garment that is an investment piece in your wardrobe.”

Being proudly South African, every item is handmade in the Anneen Henze Cape Town based studio. That means when you purchasing an item, you’re not just investing in quality clothing but also supporting our local economy. Fashion really doesn’t get any better than that!

Today I share 2 of my favourite pieces from the current collection.

The ANNABELLE Top

Anneen Henze

This off-the-shoulder, hand cut, lace trim top is nothing less than exquisite! The lace is intricate but not delicate (so mama can wear it with no worries) and it’s just as comfy as my favourite tee! Anneen added elastic so there’s no chance of this top sliding down your arms either. It’s also postpartum-friendly hiding any unwanted lumps and rolls and gives easy breastfeeding access too. I think the pesto is the prettiest but with options in black and white too you’ll be sure to adore this showstopper!

A closet staple; the MAXINE Dress

Anneen Henze

I’m completely obsessed with the Maxine dress. Fun, effortless style and did I mention, it has pockets! You guys know, I LOVE me some pockets. Who doesn’t? With its flaired fit and cool, lycra fabric it’s the ideal summer staple and flattering to all body types. Once again Anneen has made this dress nursing-friendly too, just slip one shoulder strap down your arm. Available in not just navy but cherry red and black as well.

The Maxine has me spinning and twirling and feeling all feminine and beautiful!

I love both of those items. I don’t look great in dresses, I keep trying different styles but my body shape was not made for dress unfortunately.
