30 free travel printables & tips for your next family vacation

We’re a family of wanderlusting souls and today I’m sharing 5 ways we keep our girls (and ourselves) happy travelers PLUS 30 pages of free travel printables.
First the tips…
- The holiday starts with the journey, so don’t rush. You’ll get there, when you get there. Stress and arguing doesn’t make anything go faster.
- Make sure everyone is comfortable. Pack water, pillows, blankets, magazines and that special teddy bear.
- Set the mood with a good road trip playlist that includes all the family favourites.
- Keep the kids entertained! This is where our new FREE printables come in handy. More about these shortly.
- MOST IMPORTANTLY: Take regular breaks along the way at Engen Wimpy! Relax, refuel and recharge before hitting the road towards your next adventure. This year the kids will LOVE the new Paw Patrol board games available over December – and bonus, extra entertainment for later too.

We use these printables to put together a little “travel file” for the girls. Nothing fancy, just a normal ring-bound file. I also add some stickers and basic stationery for drawing and writing. Each child gets their own file to enjoy as they please. Activities can be done in any order and where applicable I’ve mentioned special instructions or materials needed but all items should be readily available in your home.
