These gals were one of the very first clothing labels I discovered on Instagram and I’ve been wanting to feature them for ages! I liked every design I saw, but it wasn’t until my Tiny Tribe package arrived that I realized the quality of the clothes lives up to the look!
At the beginning of 2015 Linda Theunissen decided to start a little side project, something to keep her out of trouble during the day while her son, Alexander, was at playschool. Frustrated with the lack of clothing options for boys this Mamma (with a B. Tech degree in Clothing management) knew she had to do something… and that’s how Tiny Tribe Kids Clothing came to be!
Linda prints all the fabric for the gorgeous leggings by hand and every piece of clothing is manufactured locally making Tiny Tribe proudly South African.
Wilmie Aitkenhead, Linda’s sister runs the admin side of things. This unstoppable sister duo have big plans for Tiny Tribe… The first step will be moving the office / workspace out of Linda’s home and into the new loft office space being built, thereafter this brand can only grow from strength to strength expanding their range and working towards employing a full-time seamstress and more staff – all while Linda, Antony and little Alexander will be adding another little male tribe member to the family come November…
For even more inspiration, why not follow Tiny Tribe on Instagram or even look up some of their awesome brand reps:
Chenel Kruger is Raising Little James all while taking us along for the ride.
Lize, the mamma and other half to Lilac photography, has a little fashionista that will melt your heart.
Linda’s Fab 5
1.My little tribe (My husband Anthony, and son Alexander, and our new little boy on the way).
2.My parents, brother and sister. We are a close-knit family, and it is such a blessing to be able to spend so much time with them. Working with my sister means I see her and her 2 beautiful girls every day.
3.Being a homebody at heart I love some quiet time with a good book.
4.A steaming hot shower after a busy day
5.And of course… I LOVE happy customers!
If this tribe attracts your vibe why not like their Facebook page or visit their new and improved online store launching some time this month. You can even leave me a comment, I’d love to hear what you think…
