Disney + South Africa: Everything YOU need to know
TODAY is the day Disney + South Africa launches!!! And we have our warm popcorn ready!!!!
With an impressive line-up that includes a great mix of new and classic Disney films, shows and documentaries we all love… Disney+ is sure to bring some healthy competition to the local streaming space.
So here’s what you need to know…
First up… How much do I pay?
Standard pricing at launch is confirmed at R119 per month, or R1190 for an annual subscription, with sign-up information available at Disneyplus.com.
*If you have registered for the introductory offer you will receive an email and/or SMS on launch day (18 May) that will provide you with a link to redeem. Click on this link and follow the instructions to subscribe. Disney+ will send you the link on the day of launch so, please keep an eye out, but be patient, it will come.
How do I sign up for Disney+ South Africa?
- Go to Disneyplus.com
- Click ‘Register Now’ and follow the on-screen prompts.
- You will be asked to enter the code sent to the mobile number you registered with.
- Then you will see a confirmation of successful registration.
- You’ll now be one of the first to know all about the Disney+ launch in South Africa and benefit as an early bird!
Now, what will we be watching?
Disney+ will include content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, 20th Century Studios, Disney Television Studios, FX, Searchlight Pictures, and MORE!
Subscribers are able to enjoy Disney+ Originals, such as Star Wars’ The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian, Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight, Oscar-nominated ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings’, Luca, Oscar-winning Encanto and Cruella; General entertainment series like Grey’s Anatomy, This is Us, Station 19, Queens, The Kardashians, The Simpsons, and many more.
