STYLE THE BUMP: Yummy Mummy Maternity Belly Band and Extra Length Leggings.

Apr 6, 2017

Yes, we are still all about the Yummy Mummy Maternity BodyWear MultiWear Collection… Being pregnant doesn’t mean an entirely new closet. With the help of some clever maternity garments you can still rock old favourites, bump and all. Yummy Mummy Maternity have two such items as part of their BodyWear MultiBuy Collection. The Yummy Mummy Tummy Belly Band and the Extra Length Leggings. The Yummy Mummy Tummy Belly Band is a seamless knit band that you can wear over your growing baby bump. Wear it in a single layer (as seen above) or folded over to cover your unbuttoned pre-pregnancy pants, it even helps to hold up new maternity outfits too.

I live in the Extra Length Leggings. They are super comfy and go with everything AND no leggings have ever been this “stretchy”!  Pull them up over your tummy, or roll them down for some much needed extra support as you grow.

Look 1: Just a casual T-shirt and leggings kind of day.

I’ve always loved the ease and simplicity of a statement tee and if you’re a mama or mommy-to-be, you have to check out By Roeline & Co. (You may remember her from our New Year’ s post.)

This proudly South African designer and maker has the coolest collection of T-shirt designs and the boho Mama bird is my current favourite. With the Yummy Mummy Tummy Belly Band I just keep lengthening the bottom seam as needed. Other details:

A gorgeous Leather Tote bag from Alex & Marla, it’s my go-to for most occasions.

My Woolworths open toe boots, a favourite, especially during the changing of seasons.

Look 2: Autumn layers for the cooler weather.

I’m a Fall / Winter lover, not just for the hot chocolate and cozy fire-places but mostly for the fashion! I’m obsessed with textures, knits and layering. It’s probably die hygge nature of it all but I just feel happy, comfy and stylish in a gorgeous knit and scarf ensemble.

Annabella Maternity has a variety of  cardigans, great to wear during and post-pregnancy. Scarves are easy to find just about everywhere and rich mustard yellow reminds me of the beautiful autumn leaves falling all around us. I think it’s a classic this time of year.Other details:

Plain white long-sleeve tee from somewhere, long ago… (Lengthen, again by my Yummy Mummy Tummy Belly Band.)

Scarf from H&M, they have a huge selection.

Stunning Leather Duffel Bag by Alex & Marla.

Jip, my Woolworths open toe boots, again.

There you have it, another week wrapped!
